Laura Lee
Research Lead
Laura joined REAPRA in October 2018 as Research Lead for Human and Social Sciences. A psychologist by training, her experience includes consulting, coaching and counseling, crisis management and intervention, learning and education, organisational development, and research. Laura has advance training in crisis management, as well as counselling and coaching interventions. She is a member of the American Psychological Society and the Singapore Psychological Society and is registered on the Register of Qualifications in Test Use (UK). She is also a certified Human Capital Strategist.
Prior to joining REAPRA, Laura worked in the consulting field for 13 years developing and delivering people management services and programmes for Fortune 500 companies as well as SMEs. Over 10 of those years were spent in key management appointments and leadership positions. Earlier on in her career, she worked in healthcare supporting patients with chronic illnesses and their families, and children with special needs. She was actively involved in major research collaborative projects between MOE and NIE (Singapore) dealing with ministerial level policies, teacher preparation and development, as well as education consulting projects for other governments. She has also been involved in research focusing on tertiary education in Singapore and the region. Laura is currently completing her doctoral studies with the University of Bath, UK. Her research focuses on human capital development and engagement amongst healthcare professionals.
