James is currently building next-generation oriented communities in Asia. His starting focus is communication and story-telling for Reapra communities.
Prior to joining Reapra, he originally trained as an engineer and co-founded businesses in the not-for-profit and for-profit spaces, before working at a venture builder and a tech scale-up. He also spent time as a researcher at the ANU School of Cybernetics focusing on the safety and sustainability of emerging technologies like AI.
This collection of experiences between business-building and exploring the safety and sustainability of systems is connected to James’ efforts to create and find emerging ways to create businesses that are more oriented toward the wellbeing of the next generation.
